How quickly do you spot the pattern?
A short, timed test of reasoning across three kinds of problem — abstract patterns, number sequences and word relationships. You get an indicative score and a clear read of where you're sharp and where to sharpen.
See how it feels — solve a few.
One sample from each section — abstract patterns, number sequences and word reasoning. No catch: pick an answer and we'll show you the rule. (The real test generates fresh items every sitting, so these are illustrative only.)
How the test works
- ~20 minutes, timed. Three short sections; the clock runs continuously and submits for you at zero.
- An indicative score. On a familiar 100‑average scale, with a band and a per‑section breakdown — plus a PDF to keep.
- Generated fresh each time. Every sitting is different, so answers can't be shared or memorised.
Which option completes the pattern?
Illustrative samples — the real test generates fresh items for every sitting.
Three kinds of reasoning.
Each section taps a different strand of problem‑solving, and your result breaks the score down across all three so you can see your shape, not just a single number.
Abstract reasoning
Spot the pattern and complete the grid.
Numerical reasoning
Find what comes next in the sequence.
Verbal reasoning
Analogies, odd-one-out and word meaning.
One signal, not a verdict
Cognitive ability is a useful snapshot of reasoning under time — but it's a snapshot, sensitive to focus, rest and practice, and it isn't a clinical IQ. We report it as an indicative score and frame it as one input among many: best read alongside interviews, work samples and references, never on its own.
